PayPal has posted a system status alert confirming some IPNs may be delayed. We depend on IPN to receive order data back from PayPal and confirm completed payment, so any IPN delays would affect how quickly we can notify you of a sale, log the transaction, send thank-you emails, and issue download links or purchased PIN/key/license codes.

You can reassure concerned buyers that their download link or any codes they'd purchased will be sent as soon as PayPal catches up with their delay.

You may also choose to satisfy impatient buyers manually by using your Seller Admin > "Send free download link / code". In that case, you can also prevent an additional link/code from being issued to them when the IPN finally arrives, by entering your Transaction ID for their payment (which you can find in your PayPal account history or receipt email) in your Seller Admin > Block Transactions screen.

So, does inputing the IPN in Paypal still worthless because I just did and I just found this thread: http://www.e-junkie.com/bb/topic/2690/pg/1#post and now see that it was pointless? You guys never deleted that set IPN line in the Seller admin. As a customer I will assume that I have to put it in or my transactions won't count. I just want clarification on this matter.

The manual IPN setting you're referring to has no relation to how our system processes transactions. Please see my reply in that other thread you linked for further details.

Sorry, I understand better. I was looking at that it doesn't matter, but still in seller settings. I didn't the little white button does the transmitting. Where is it crucial to manually add ipn?

With our system, the only case where you would need to manually enter IPN would be if you're using our system to deliver downloads or digital codes for eBay sales:

Also, we have seen rare cases where deliberately Disabling IPN in PayPal seems to override any IPN specs our buttons normally send, so in that case you would need to re-enable IPN in PayPal and provide our Notification URL:

https://www.e-junkie.com/ecom/ipnext.php

(or any IPN URL will work, such as if you are also accepting PayPal payments for sales unrelated to E-junkie and need those IPNs to go to a third party, as E-junkie buttons would override that URL only for orders coming through our system).
