Some of you may have experienced problems last night with orders that were processed by PayPal. This is due to a delay in IPN data. Here is PayPal's post from last night:

Hi,

I was using your 1 week trial shopping cart button on my webite page 3 days ago as above link. Before signing up, i tested today the purchase button asking my friend to purchase using his credit card. After sucessful paypal transaction, paypal redirected the next step to e-junkie url but your server was not working. It showed a blank page. Where do the customer add his shipping address for the seller to sent the items. There was also no thank you page. I need some clarification on this matter.

thank you.

What you described would be unrelated to the PayPal IPN outage/delays from last night that we reported above.

Just enable Shipping/Buyer's Address in the settings of each product that you want to trigger collection of the buyer's address during checkout. Your settings at our end appear fine, so just make sure you have fulfilled our PayPal integration requirements in your account settings at PayPal's end:

http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/selling-with-paypal.htm

I notice your site still has a PayPal button next to your E-junkie cart button; once you get your E-junkie buttons tested, you will want to remove the PayPal button to avoid buyer confusion, since our cart includes a PayPal checkout button inside the cart itself, and our system would have no way of knowing anything about an order placed using a PayPal-provided button on your site.

Hi,

Thank you for your assistance.

I was just testing with the paypal button and this page is not yet ready for customers

view.

PayPal integration requirements in my account settings is set to defualt values.

In my paypal accounts/profile/Website Payment Preferences settings, what is the return

url address should I link, is it my own custom thank you page or your e-junkie url or leave it blank (after the customer has made payment completion).

You should not need to enter a Return URL if you set Auto Return: Off, as we recommend.

You would only need to have "Auto Return" set to "On" if that were required by other products you are selling through PayPal without E-junkie. In that case, you would set the Return URL to whatever you require for those non-E-junkie sales, and then set "Payment Data Transfer" to "On" as well to remain compatible with E-junkie. Our purchase buttons automatically send our IPN and Auto Return requirements to PayPal with every sale.
