Hello Junkies!

My client wants a simple list of items people can choose from. So far so good, I just drop in the buttons. Someone clicks Add to Cart and bingo it does and they see the item in their cart.

But, he also wants there to be checkboxes, so people can just scroll down the list and check off what they want, THEN go to the cart, ie. a method of selecting several items WITHOUT having to travel to the cart after every single selection.

Is there a method for this.

Please excuse me if this is a FAQ but I couldn't find it.

Thanks!

Hi Kent,

Something like that is possible, but it is not a supported feature of our cart. Creating such an interface is going to take some custom programming on your part.

I believe Andrew at www.easye-junkie.com has some experience in this area, he mentions checkboxes as one of the possible add-ons in his independent training and customization service for E-junkie:

You might want to get in touch with him for some advice or pointers on how to do what your client is looking for.

Found him on your consultants page already, thanks.

I think it's a valuable feature if E-J could spit out a page of links for the whole store or section with the all "add these to cart" checkboxes. Very useful with products where the buyer already knows what he's buying, and is just selecting which ones, sort of thing.
