Setting Up the E-junkie Newsletter / Eblast Feature
With the new year just around the corner, you may have new products that you are just dying to tell customers about. And of course it will be more efficient to let them know all at once. To help you with this, E-junkie provides all of our users with access to our Newsletter / Update feature which will allow you to easily send an email to many people at once.
Our Newsletter option price is $0.02 per e-mail address. If you are using the feature to send previous buyers an updated version of a file, the is an additional amount per e-mail of $0.01 per file and $0.004 per MB of the file. There is a minimum of a $1.00 charge.
To use this feature you will want to start by clicking on the Send Updates/Newsletters option on the left side of the Seller Admin page:
Once the page loads, in Step 1 you will want to have the drop down menu set to Newsletter. If you are sending an update you will choose the specific product that you are sending an update for.
In Step 2 you will want to enter in an Email Subject and Message, in this case I am setting up a New Year’s message, even though we have a week still. Don’t forget to add a check mark to the Enable templated Email box.
For Step 3 you will need to select which Buyers Group you want to send the Newsletter to. Buyers Groups are people who have purchased specific products, so the list is by the product name, if you want to select all products, click the top product on the list, then scroll to the bottom, hold down the shift key and click the bottom product.
Finally, Step 4 is to click the Calculate Cost and pay for the mailing. Before you click on the button the page should look like this:
If you want to look at your mailing list you can do that by clicking on the View/Edit Mailing List link on the left side of the Seller Admin page:
