I have set up a per unit discount limited to 50 buyers using the buy now button and it is not taking.



In testing, after entering the code and clicking the button I go to the EJ Paypal portal where you enter your Paypal account info. The discount code is listed but there is no discount shown, just the full price.



I further tested with a credit card and the purchase went through at full price.

I infer you've deleted that discount by now, as I'm not seeing any discount like you described in your account currently, so I can't see what might have been amiss with its settings before. Since you mention using a Buy Now button, bear in mind the discount limitations for Buy Now buttons listed here:
