I've just tried to delete two products from the product list, but was unable. Is there just a delay or is something else amiss?

Thanks for reporting this; we did find and fix a glitch that was delaying deletions from actually taking effect. :^)

How long is the delay? I'm getting the same issue. I removed one product and added the same product - but with a typo removed. When folks go to buy the only product I have uploaded - BOTH versions show up and they named the same. HELP! Thx

When I was experiencing the delay, it lasted roughly 15 minutes. However, I've had no problems since I posted my second message in this thread.

Ok 2 hours later and the rogue product is still showing up in the selections to buy. It is no longer available to be deleted, which tells me I've done what I need to do to remove it. Any hints? Thx

When you say it is showing up in the section to buy. Is this in our Marketplace?

No, the shopping cart landing page linked from my site. Shows two items available, but really there's only supposed to be one as one has been deleted.

@deepdish: Could you provide the URL of your Web page where you are using your E-junkie Add to Cart or Buy Now buttons?

If you delete a product in Seller Admin, you would need to remove any button codes that you'd pasted into your Web page for that product; deleting a product in Admin doesn't remove its button from your site automatically.

Any cart links have the latest code for the button (shopping cart). See the "Buy the Guide" orange button on this page: http://twitterforrestos.com/tfr/get-the-guide/

The only other link to the cart is the "get the guide" big orange button, also on that same page. Its a widget so its the same code on all pages.

PLEASE HELP! the only folks who have tried to buy the download are getting this message:

Seller has no file uploaded for this product currently. Please contact the seller at...

The product is there and buy-able according to shopping cart. Also - my Google Checkout is telling me the product has been charged/shipped, even though the buyers say there's no download.

This is a notice I keep getting from e-junkie:

--------------------------------------------------------------

Notification sent to twit4restos

--------------------------------------------------------------

This is a notification that you are selling a download for Twitter for Restaurants - A Comprehensive Guide but it does not have a file uploaded, and the user(xxx) was unable to download it for transaction ID xxx.

NEED HELP ASAP PLEASE. Thx

Tyson, please pretty please get back to me on the above issue asap. I'm dying over here. Thx

You simply need to upload a file that buyers can download for your product. Perhaps you'd uploaded your file for the original product and did not upload it again for the new replacement product? BTW, you can also use this Edit procedure to make corrections to an existing product, rather than having to create a replacement product just to fix a mistake:

Go to your Seller Admin > View/Edit/Delete Products, select the affected product and click Edit, there on the first screen of product settings you will see a button to Upload Product File. Always remember to click Next until you can click Submit to save changes.

Your account currently only has one product created, and I could not find any extra products listed on your page, other than the two orange buttons you have for your one product. Clicking either of those buttons adds just that one item to my order in the cart. I don't know what "landing page" you might have meant that showed a choice of two products available?

Also, you should add your View Cart code to your page to take advantage of our nice overlay-style cart that works "inside" your own page (instead of opening the cart in a popup window like you have now).

I DID upload the product (pdf) even as I deleted the original - which has since disappeared finally as the rogue extra item showing up in carts - thank you.

Ok, I'm going to delete the only product supposedly uploaded, and upload a replacement. Point taken about the cart button. Thx. Fingers crossed...

You don't need to delete your existing product or add a new product. Just Edit the product you already have. You'll find the Upload Product File button right there on the first screen of product settings when you edit an existing product.

So, by "landing page" you were actually talking about a shopping cart that you'd added items to, testing as if you were a buyer building an order? Perhaps you had added the original product to your cart order, then you deleted that product in Admin and created a replacement product, and then when you added that new item to your testing cart order, the cart couldn't tell right away if the original product had just been deleted, so it still showed up in that particular test order.

If you're only selling the one product and not using Tax or Shipping calculations, perhaps it would be easiest if you just used a Buy Now button for instant checkout, rather than using cart buttons?

While you were writing, I went ahead and deleted and uploaded - sorry. SEEMS to be all good, but unfortunately I can't buy from myself with Goog Chkout so can't officially test. At any rate, I've got 2 guys that purchased earlier but have not been given the download link. I can comp them with freebies which is no big deal, BUT I'm wary now because their cards were charged yet they were denied a download.

Guess I'll have to wait until the next buyer comes along and hope for the best...

THANK YOU for getting back to me - minutes seem like days when other people's money is involved.
