I've been trying to set up sales tax for just a single US state but I just can't seem to get the sales tax to show up in the cart.

Within the Ej admin, I select "Sales Tax / VAT", then I choose "Tax Buyer from State / Prov" (i.e. Washington).

After that didn't work I chose Advance and entered the following:

98,9.500

WA,9.500



Still didn't work. Any suggestion to what I may be doing wrong? Thanks

Did you remember to also tick the box for Sales Tax/VAT in the settings of each taxable product?



You won't need to use Advanced Tax Settings if you just want a uniform tax rate for buyers in a single state; the "Tax buyers from state" setting would be sufficient for that.
