Hey everyone,

I have spent several hours testing different options, perusing the forums.. but I still can't figure out shipping rates. Any help or guidance would be deeply appreciated.

When I click on "edit shipping settings" and select Canada as my country that I'm shipping from, it refuses to let me enter my postal code. It only accepts numbers in the field (zip codes) so I am unable to enter in this information. When I try to advance past this screen, it says I must enter a zip/postal code. The only way to move forward is to enter in a fake zipcode.

I'm not sure if that's actually my problem - but I thought it was worth mentioning.

I have several items for sale, please view http://theworldawaits.com/store

As you can see, I have drop-downs for each item (4-pack, 8-pack or 20-pack). I don't need E-junkie to figure out my shipping settings, as I already have them written down from the post office. I just need to have it work like this..

4-pack or 8-pack to CANADA is $1.16

20-pack to Canada is $1.96

4-pack or 8-pack to USA is $1.96

20-pack to USA is $3.60

Each item would have $.50 handling charge for the envelope.

This should be simple enough - but for the life of me I cannot figure it out!

Can anybody tell me in simple steps how I can accomplish this?

Thanks so much..

Jason

Can anybody help me with this situation?

I would really love to start getting word out about my store!

Also, is there any way to reset all the shipping options?

I have been trying to figure this out for the past few days, and think I might have messed something up. I'm currently unable to get ANY shipping price on any item, even if I set a flat fee. I'm going through the help and forum sections but end up more confused. Is it possible that I set something along the way that is sabotaging my efforts???

Make sure you enable the Shipping/Buyer's Address setting for each product that should apply shipping charges.

I've revisited your original inquiry several times myself, but I still can't think of a way to configure our shipping calculator that would result in charges exactly like you described.

This won't be exact, but it's simple and would only overcharge slightly (by $0.31) on 20-packs going to the US. Add a Shipping Rule for Canada that applies the "Price per unit weight" method at 1.00 per oz., then add another Rule for the US that applies "Price per unit weight" at 1.66 per oz. Make sure you delete any other Existing Shipping Rules you may have. Then just configure your 4-/8-pack products with a weight of 1.66 oz and configure your 20-pack product with a weight of 2.46. This will produce Shipping calculations like so (these include your $0.50 handling/packing fee):

4-/8-pack:

CA $1.66

US $2.77

20-pack:

CA $2.46

US $4.10
