Our company is going to start selling digital goods. I tried the admin demo and I noticed when you download the transaction log, there is a column dedicated to the buyer's IP address.

Does this display the IP addresses for each time a buyer has downloaded my item?

The buyer's purchase IP and latest download IP are reported in separate columns of your Transaction Log. The Buyer IP indicates the IP assigned to their connection when they went through checkout, whereas the download IP indicates the IP assigned to whatever connection made the latest download attempt on the link we issued to that buyer. These IPs can differ for legitimate reasons, such as the buyer making their purchase from one location and then later attempting their download from another location (e.g., work vs. home). Note we do not log the IP for every download attempt made on a given buyer's link; we only log the IP of the latest attempt.
