We have set up an online store for CDs using ejunkie. Originally, we set up integration with Accutrack. Everything works well on the ejunkie side of things, but we are not at all happy with the price and quality of the final product with Accutrack. I am looking at the possibility of pulling the physical CD distribution in-house, as the majority of our sales are digital downloads.

My question is this: Is it easy to just have an email sent to one of our email addresses upon purchase of a physical CD, one that contains the buyers name, shipping address, and the products payed for, rather than sending this information to a third party service like Accutrack? It says that a script can be customized to send the data, but can we just follow the instructions for adding the email addresses and have an email arrive without writing a script? If I had enough information, I'm sure I could put the script together, but I need to know for my client if it's even necessary, or if we can achieve the same result by merely adding the email address to the notification url?

Any help would be appreciated!

We do now support integration with another disc-fulfillment service, TrepStar:

That said, if you would prefer to handle CD fulfillment yourself, you would remove the Accutrack notification URL from your settings; then you could do one of the following:

Use our custom/3rd-party Integration method to transmit the order data to the URL of a script on your server:

Send a copy of the order details to another email address, in addition to the Sale Notification emails we send you:

Simply rely on the Sale Notification emails we send you, perhaps just forwarding that manually to a fulfillment person when a CD order comes in.
