Hi. Our marketplace is simple with only one product. We would like affiliates to be able to use a "hop link" to our sales page but also a "buy now" link right to the shopping cart. Some affiliates have commission incentives which I have adjusted in the seller dashboard. I would like to apply this extra percentage with either link type but my understanding is that the product link percentage (base commission for product) will override the general commission. Is there a way to allow both types of links and have the extra commissions stay in place in affiliate reports?

If you grant an Extra Percentage to any particular affiliate in your Seller Admin > View/Edit Affiliates screen, that extra commission would be calculated on the item subtotal (pre-tax/-shipping) of all sales referred by that affiliate.

Product-specific share percentages do override your Common share percentage for affiliate-referred sales of that product, but this does not affect or override any Extra Percentages, which are calculated separately and in addition to any other affiliate commissions the referring affiliate would normally earn.

Thank you so much for such a quick response. As you understand our situation (with one product and an extra commission for certain affiliates who might use either type of link depending on their own circumstances), would the reporting to them via EJunkie reflect the extra commission? I just want to educate them about what to expect.

Extra Percentage commissions should be included in the earnings reported for each sale in the affiliate's sale notification emails and the earnings report in their Affiliate Admin.
