Hi,

We're selling t-shirts and so far we're successfully using three options (Color, Image, Size) in this fashion:

* Color (oatmeal, cream)

* Image/logo color (blue, pink)

* Size (XXS, XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL)

We'd like to add a fourth-option and that is "style", which would have three option values of "women's tank", "unisex v-neck" and "men's crewneck". Unfortunately by default only three options can be set in the Products admin panel and we can't find any workaround for this.

Would you please advise on how (if possible) we can add this fourth option?

Thank you!

We are only able to send three options to through to the payment processor at a time, but there is a bit of a workaround in that we can send options created on the Variant screen separately from options created on the Variations screen in a way that both are tracked through checkout.

That can give you up to a total of six options, although how you set them up and how they will work will depend on which specific feature you use for which option. Our help page for both features is here:

Thanks.

We manage to do this, but is there any way we can also arrange stock based on this fourth option?

Because this fourth option can only be added as a variation and stock is defined prior of adding this 4th option, it does not seem we do this. Or can we?

Unfortunately, Variants can only handle up to 3 options, though of course each option can have as many different buyer-selectable values as you wish. Do all 4 of your options need to affect the stock tracking? If so, you might consider combining two of them into a single option -- e.g.:

* Fabric+logo colors (oatmeal+blue, oatmeal+pink, cream+blue, cream+pink)

* Size (XXS, XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL)

* Style (women's tank, unisex v-neck, men's crewneck)

Thanks for the follow-up. Yes, all 4 of our options need to affect the stock tracking. We'll try to set it up by combining two into a single option. Thanks.
