Hello,

Would you happen to know if Paypal is backlogged on processing IPNs today? We received a couple payments earlier this morning and they have not been processed yet. Thanks in advance.

Nope, PayPal is sending the IPNs ok, I just checked it. Something is wrong with e-Junkie. Strange because normally e-junkie handles it all perfectly. Hope they fix it asap....

Same here. Made couple of sales, went through on PayPal but people haven't received their emails to download.

Thanks for the replies. I just had another payment come through that hasn't been processed yet either. klw

In case someone is keeping count, I'm seeing the same thing as well.

Can e-junkie please acknowledge the problem and give a guess as to when it should be resolved?

Same thing is happening for free download email links.

Email isn't being sent and transaction is not being logged into "Free Download Log".

Yes please! I have already been hit with a PayPal case over this. I guess I will just have to halt sales until it's resolved. No time to deal with irate customers and get hit with more cases. Klw

Add me to the list. Transactions since 8 am Eastern haven't been listed in my Log but PayPal has processed the orders. Customers are not happy. I've tried sending messages using the Contact form but I haven't even received the automated response that's supposed to come. Some serious problems going on there and hopefully they'll get it sorted pronto.

Yes, same here. Customers writing that they aren't getting download links after waiting 2 hours. I do see the PP payment, but there is no corresponding download info at e-junkie.

If it is a digital product, here is what I did as a workaround until it's fixed.

Use "Free Download Link" and enter an email as if you are sending free links.

After you hit submit, E-Junkie will generate a unique link which you can copy and paste to access the download page. Email the customer the unique url manually.

I have had to issue three refunds so far, one case against me and I have removed all of my download links from my product so no more can be purchased. Klw

I tried sending a free download but I did not receive the copy of the email I requested, nor did it show up in the Free Transactions log - so I'm not sure the client received the link either.

Right after you click submit for the Free Download Link, you will see E-Junkie generate a unique URL which you can copy/paste into your browser to access the download page.

So I sent the URL link to the customer manually.

Reported this 6hours ago from Europe/Amsterdam area.
No comment yet from e-junkie.
Painful.

Thanks everyone for reporting this; I've referred it to Development for investigation.

PayPal hasn't posted notification of any known issues with IPN at their end, but you can check whether IPNs have been sent and, if not, resend them -- see the instructions under step C, item 2 here:

If the IPN shows a status of Failed, tick the box next to each failed IPN and click Resend, which should then have us process the order manually.

If the IPN shows a status of Sent, but you're still not seeing the order in your E-junkie Transaction Log, you can use Send Free Download Link in your Seller Admin to generate a link manually, then copy and past the link generated there (as @AlexanderG suggested above, thx!). Please email our support team with the Transaction IDs of any such orders (where IPN shows as Sent but order not logged in E-junkie), so we can refer those to Development for investigation.
