As of late 2009, Google has been recommending the new asynchronous tracking code. All the new tools (WordPress plugins, etc.) are using the new code. And as far as I can tell, the e-Junkie code is incompatible with it.

The first step in the migration instructions Google provides for the new code is to delete all the old code. Which would include the e-Junkie customized snippet. Is anyone working on an update to work with the new GA?

We'll have to check with Development whether we'll be updating our version of the GA tracking code to support the new asynchronous method, but meanwhile you could just replace our version of the GA code with the new GA asynchronous code (remember to add it to your E-junkie-generated thank-you pages as well), and all you'd lose would be the extra tracking features built into our buttons and cart.

I hadn't been using thank-you pages. Probably time to look into that. Thanks.

Note that if you're using our version of the GA code (including if we update this to support the asynchronous method), you should NOT add our GA code to your E-junkie-generated thank-you pages, as doing so would conflict with the code we already put in there by default.
