Google has a page that they give help on tracking thought e-commerce sites: https://www.google.com/support/googleanalytics/bin/answer.py?answer=55528&ctx=sibling

Your site says to use https for this purpose, yet the code I am given to paste in does not have a secure option. I am putting this code into the MESSAGE (HML) OPTIONAL box.

<script src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" type="text/javascript">

</script>

<script type="text/javascript">

_uacct = "UA-1778293-4";

urchinTracker();

</script>

Is this going to cause a problem for me or my customers? I have not yet tested this. My goal is to find out where my buyers are coming from (referrers).

If you are using E-junkie cart buttons, please refer our "tracking" section in help for details. We are pre-integrated with Google Analytics and you don't need to place that code.

We're using your service with a Google Checkout button. Unfortunately, while we use the Google Analytics and reports, we haven't found a way to measure abandon rates within the Google Checkout system. We suspect that potential customers are abandoning the purchase process once they see they need to create a Google account, but we have no visibility on this.

Is there any help you can provide with gaining visibility on Google Checkout abandon rates?
