It looks like I'm getting two posts to my response url for each purchase. I did have (my error) a url listed for the individual item and the same url for the overall account. Removing the overall url had no effect. Does it linger for a day or so before you folks update? Or is there another reason I could be getting double purchases?

I recommend double checking your settings to be sure the change took. There's no reason for a setting like that to linger but if you backed out of the profile/product edit screen without submitting your changes the URL may still be listed in two places.



Are you submitting every order to your URL? It may be simpler to remove the notification from each product and leave the one common notification in your account preferences if so.



Once you've confirmed that your response URL is only listed in one place you can be certain that only one notification is going out.

One more thing: if a buyer orders multiple different items which have their Payment Variable Info URL configured, then each of those products would trigger a separate submission to their respective URLs. As explained above, if you want the order data submitted just once for every sale regardless of which products are ordered, just use the Common Notification URL and disable the "Send transaction data" setting in the individual product settings.
