Update: Oops. I feel foolish. It so happens that I entered my paypal email slightly wrong. Beats me how anything worked at all. I specified my ISP as fairpoint.net instead of myfairpoint.net (perhaps fairpoint has some kind of alias going on?) Anyway, when I entered the correct email, I did in fact get the payment screen I desired.
------ ORIGINAL POST -------
I have read all the information that e-junkie has to offer on this topic, and things don't add up. It has been put forth that whether direct Card payments are allowed is tied to the security state of the BUYER's computer. Why then...
1. I as a buyer I try your sample PayPal Standard button and I GET the option to pay WITHOUT signing up for paypal.
2. I go directly to paypal and create a Buy Now button on their sight, and that button sends me to a page where I again have the choice to pay by credit card without an account.
3. I go though e-junkie and I'm NOT given the pay without an account option.
