I just tried to send a 67MB update to 564 users and it said it would cost $398.00.

It's always been overpriced. It seems to be outright insane now. Sending updates is a part of doing business and the ability to do so is what we pay EJ for. I've used you guys with success for years and I keep hoping you will catch up to DPD so I don't have to switch. But alas.

This is NOT bandwidth cost, it's taking advantage. I use S3 also and I just checked. This would amount to about 35GB is everyone download. That incurs an S3 costs of less than $2.00. I decided to find other options to deliver but I'm very disappointed. The clear manipulation of update costs to generate revenue is very tacky. It should be included or at most a few dollars for actual costs plus a reasonable fee.

Thanks for your feedback. The Update prices were never meant to turn a profit, although those prices are very, very old. We've already adjusted our regular pricing to reflect the wider availability of bandwidth and data storage so an update on the Update pricing is hopefully not far behind.
