Hi,

We are in the process of configuring 2checkout payment gatewaywith our site. Since we are selling digital products only, so we actually donot need the step 2 "Billing Information" while checking out with 2co. Please guide us here if there is any way we can skip that step as that would be an overhead for customer to fill in those fields which are actually not needed and may force them to opt any other payment gateway.

Your prompt response in this regard would highly be appreciated.

The Billing Information screen is necessary to obtain the buyer's name and email address, as well as their billing address for credit card verification purposes, so that screen cannot be bypassed.

Problem here would be, the user can enter false information. 2CO's verification is done after purchasing and download link is sent, so if someone enters false information, they can get the download link and later on 2CO refund the amount itself. This shouldnt be the case. This way customer can get the download link and 2Co will cancel the payment after sometime. Please advice what should we do in such scenarios?

You may wish to inquire with 2CO if they have a setting for more strict verification of billing information during checkout before they authorize the payment, rather than doing so afterwards or waiting for a cardholder to file a chargeback claim for a fraudulent charge on their card (e.g., due to stolen card details).

That latter scenario is probably what is actually happening when you get payments canceled some time after the original checkout was completed, so that would not be solved by waiving the requirement to enter billing information -- cardholders would still file claims to void charges made to their card by unauthorized parties.

At any rate, checkout is handled entirely at 2CO's end, so aside from sending the order details to them in the first place, we have no control over how they handle checkout or process the actual payment; you would need to consult their help pages or support team regarding what options and settings may be available to you at their end.

And how to remove step 2 " Shipping Information". We are selling digital services.

You can simply disable Shipping/Buyer's Address in the settings of each product that will not require buyers to provide a Shipping address during checkout.

2checkout is linked with woocmmerce of my wordpress site. All products are marked virtual. But still its asking for shipping address at checkout. Can you please guide me elaborately

?

I've tried checking your E-junkie settings, but the account you are using does not even have any products set up on this end. Are you working from within another E-junkie account?

Additionally, since the website and email addresses connected with this account indicate that you wish to sell Twitter followers we should advise you that doing so is a violation of our terms of service, based on the fact that selling Twitter followers is considered spam and a violation of Twitter's terms of service:
