Here I have clicked on the AddToCart BuyNow button on my page http://www.reducestressnow.net/LP/find-out-how/implementation. This purchases my product 889185 with a price of $9.95. see:

http://www.ReduceStressNow.net/filez/ej.4.1-price-set-to-9.95.png

And it has gone, as expected, to page https://www.e-junkie.com/ecom/gb.php?c=cart&i=889185&cl=46037&ejc=2

Yet the price has already been discounted to zero, without me loading any Discount Code! see:

In case it was due to the last time I went through the checkout and specified a 100% discount code, I quit Firefox and ensured all cookies were deleted. I have now specified a custom Thank You page on my server, so I'm going through again to ensure this change to the process works as desired.

Yet my cart is giving an unwanted 100% discount with a brand-new Firefox without any cookies.

How come this has happened and how do I stop giving away this product free of charge? Is this a bug, or is it me and my very limited knowledge?

Any and all help would be much appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

Your cart shows "Codes applied: Current Promotion", indicating a discount has been applied automatically without requiring the buyer to enter a Discount Code.

If you create a discount in Seller Admin without any Discount Code (i.e., if the Discount Code field is left blank in the discount's settings), then the discount gets applied automatically to every order that meets the Min. Item Total/Qty. threshold(s) you set for that discount.

To fix this, you can go to Seller Admin > Cart Discounts, select the discount from the menu there and click Load to view its settings, then add something in the Discount Code field and click Submit to save changes. Then that discount cannot be applied unless a buyer knows that exact code and enters it in their cart.

Thanks for your help. This was indeed the problem.
