I hope the answer to this isn't the obvious. We just introduced a website with a couple products for sale. We've seen a lot of enthusiasm for the products, and we're getting perhaps 250 unique visitors to our web site, and our pricing seems to be OK, but to date, we've had no orders. Coming from a Direct Marketing background, I know / it seems we should have had a least one?!
Of course, we're considering...
1)The product concepts stink
2) Our pricing is too high
3) Our website design is poor (I don't think so)
4) There's a high abandon rate with Google
5) People don't like using Google Checkout
6) We're still in the process of setting up PayPal and Authorize.net
We're looking into 1 - 3, and I can't find any info re: 4, but can you tell me if perhaps you're seeing resistance elsewhere from people who don't want to sign up for a Google account just to buy a product online?
Thank you. So far, e-Junkie has been great to work with! I hope your success continues.
