In the last half day I have had 3 people write to me all complaining of an error message when they try to make a purchase. The message they are receiving is:

10002

Authentication/Authorization Failed

You do not have permissions to make this API call

Error

<< Click here to go back

ERROR! https://www.e-junkie.com/ ecom/ppdirect.php

In all cases I redirected them to my ClickBank sales page where they were able to make the purchase normally but I wonder how many may be simply walking away. What is going on here? Some sales are getting through normally so it looks like it may be an erratic glitch with PayPal.

I know I responded to you in an E-mail, but I will also respond here. The error message that your buyers got comes from PayPal. The first thing you should do is check to make sure your integration between E-junkie and PayPal Pro is setup according to our PayPal Pro help page:

If that is not it then you will need to check with PayPal as the issue is on their end.

I've been making sales for a couple of months with no error messages and I hadn't changed anything. Sales had been going through today as well so I don't see what I could have done that is wrong.

I did try turning the pro billing off in the e-junkie panel after your message here but everything disappeared from the cart window on my web site and it just said checkout with no visible logo, so I clicked it back on. After that I took the dog for a walk and when I came back there had been 3 successful sales so this is a real mystery. I shall try contacting PayPal if I get anymore customers talking about error messages.
