Hi E-junkies!

Has anyone used a 'Verbatim' 1tb brand home server to host products? Will the secure unique code generator work so that sales of large files can be downloaded from my home server?, and. people won't be able to hack into my home sever?

thanks,

pele

We do not expose the locations of remotely hosted files to buyers or the publid; indeed, buyers would have no way of knowing the file they downloaded did not originate from storage on E-junkie's server provisions. This help page subsection explains our Remotely Hosted Downloads feature in more detail:

Files you host remotely (rather than uploaded to us) would need to be stored on a Web server, so the files can be accessed via a static (unchanging) URL starting with http://. A file server that connects into your home/office network for general file storage would probably not have this functionality. This help page goes into more detail about determining your Remote Product File URLs:
