We started using UPS Ground a few days ago, and some of the rates are off, the most recent order was the following:

Item Number 399679

Qty: 35

Weight (each): 2.4 ounces

Item Number

Qty: 30

Weight (each): .01 ounces

Approx total weight: 5.5lb, round up to 6 lb for UPS

From zip 70364 to zip 76087

According to UPS website (calculate time and cost), they estimate $14.22, my customer was charged $8.80.

I've had a couple that were off by a couple dollars, but this is the largest one so far. Is there a problem with the settings on my end?

Sorry for the delay in replying to your forum post. The reason for the difference is that UPS has two rates, one for residential addresses and one for business addresses. The UPS server only sends us the business rate when calculating shipping. Our development department is aware of this issue.

Dear development department,

PLEASE remedy this problem as we are still experiencing the same problem PBrunet posted above.

As a small business with low volume we do not qualify for shipping discounts from UPS nor do we ship to businesses per the nature of our product.

UPS should send you only the published (non-discounted) rates or better yet, E-Junkie should offer us (your costumers) shipping label printing and direct payment options so that the costs quote you provide our costumers with are true!

Please send an update with some concrete time lines for a solution.

Best regards.
