I am trying to send these (am managaing to but I'm not sure it's all working as it should) and having a couple of issues:



1- the dropdown menu only gives me 'no exisitng products' and no other options



2- Even though a product I want to send a new file for has the file attached and I removed all the variables/ inventory control etc (I've since added it back in) it still doesn't appear in the list and when I calculate the fees it doesn't seem to acknowledge there is a file or send it out

It looks like you've disabled all the download settings for your products, so even though you have files uploaded your items have their download links disabled and thus they are not appearing as an option for updates. It also looks like you did that intentionally as a reaction to the changes to EU VAT, which has been a big strain on everyone. :(



If you edit the product in question and check the Single File Download setting again it should start appearing in your Updates menu. You may also want to make sure the proper file is uploaded, and you can test that in advance using Seller Admin > Send Free Download Link.



Afterward you can turn the Single File Download setting off so that you can continue delivering by other means if that is your preference.

Hi sorry if I wasn't clear- the item does have single

File download clicked and a file attached (it's the secret Christmas 2015 item- one of only a few items that have a file attached at the moment)



It also has variations/ inventory control but I took that all off to try and do the update/ newsletter it still didn't appear in the list - even after refreshing etc to see if it changed.



But I could skip choosing anything in the 1st drop down (as there was nothing to choose) and select the buyer group for that item in the 2nd drop down.

It could then see the correct amount of buyers but did the pricing as though there was no file and no file was emailed out- just the text I put in.

Hmm... I was able to get that product to appear properly in the first menu of the Update screen (if it isn't selected there, no file will be sent).



I was able to do so by unchecking the Variations and Inventory settings as you did, but be sure that you both copy down your variations settings and hit the Submit button to make those changes "permanent" -- after that if you return to your Admin screen and go to the Newsletters/Updates screen you should see it in the top menu as I did.



When you return to the product later your variations settings will probably be lost but you can just copy/paste them back in, I tested all of that and made sure to replace the settings so that they were exactly as I found them.
