Has anyone else been having this problem?
I've been downloading txt files from my Transaction Logs. When I import them into Excel I'm not able to format them as comma or tab delimited. They are importing as 1252: Western European (Windows). My only option is to import all the data into a single cell. Yesterday this feature was working correctly. It's worked correctly for the last 8 years for me, until today. eJunkie txt files should be importing as 65001: Unicode (UTF-8) which when imported properly gives me the option to use commas or tabs as delimiters. I use this feature every day so I'm hoping it can be fixed asap.
I've tested this on Chrome, FireFox and Explorer, and on different computers and get the same results. Below is the Data Import window I see when importing. Changing the File Origin doesn't help. All the data from the txt file imports into a single column with absolutely no way of sorting the data.
