Hi everyone,

So I have the trial version of e-junkie (I plan on upgrading to the $18 if this problem gets sorted out).

Here is my issue: I live in Canada and want to charge tax to Canadian buyers. I set up the tax calculator, put the button on my website and tested it. Everything seemed to be working fine, it calculated perfectly but as soon as I confirmed the choice and tried to buy my own product, paypal gave me the price WITHOUT tax.

Any idea why that is?

PayPal checkouts will only show shipping/tax amounts once the buyer has provided their actual location and shipping address during checkout, so they can contact our system to make sure the shipping/tax charges are appropriate for their location(s). This prevents confusing or misleading the buyer in case the address they provide does not match the location they'd specified in their cart before checkout, which may change the calculated charges. This is now standard behavior for all PayPal checkouts coming from third-party carts such as ours, as of the last couple years.
