Is the Stored Code value put in the ejunkie notification sale email the sellers get?

I dont see it yet and would imagine it would be in there.

Also, what is the logic or lack of behind having all that data unorganized below? Why not list it in an nice order instead?

No, we only send buyer's information in the e-mail and the data from the payment processor. You can only see the code in the logs

Since we already provide the buyer and order details up above. You can ignore the data, that's just the data we get from the payment processor.

shouldnt the code also be in the sale notification? why not.

The sale notification is just that - a notification of the sale. It includes what was sold and the buyer information for the benefit of the sellers who need to deliver tangible items.

There is no real reason for us to include the delivered code to the merchant.

Why do you expect that in the notification e-mail?

You need the rational, logical, business-sense, or accounting-related reason?

Cause it fits nicely in there.

People use the service in many many different ways then what you would expect.

Another freebee provided.

Speaking of that, when are you going to set up a page just for posting Ejunkies Tips and Tricks section? I know, I know, you want to ask "why would that be usefull".

Best Monthly Tip and Trick gets a brand new crispy fresh smelling $5 Bill mailed directly from the corporate high-towered plush carpeted offices of e-junkie.

I can see your point, in that some Merchants may want to use the Sale Notification email to see immediately which customer received which code without having to log in here and check their txn log, perhaps e.g. to perform manual data entry to activate/enable the code, perhaps as a password to go with the buyer's email as a login for access to some premium content.

We're actually working on a major revamp for our documentation pages, which will include Tips'n'Tricks sections and will also link into the Community E-junkie Guides section currently posted here:

1http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/e-junkie-guides.php1

...and to which you can currently already post articles via the "submit content" link in blue at the top of this page and all other E-junkie Community pages.

Thats only a small part of it. There are many reasons far past that. Accounting, quick tracking, future referencing, etc.

Yeah this the the kind of Tips and Ticks I was talking about for the e-junkie cart. That will work nicely: 8-o

That's the exact issue. Some merchants send license text which is half a page long. Sometimes, 10s of those liceneses are sold in one sale and in those case it's not a great idea to include the key in the e-mail.

Also, there is no possible use of the key in the e-mail when you can get it from the log anyway. As I mentioned earlier, the notification e-mail is only useful for merchants who need to ship tangible items.
