Hey guys,

I'm trying to send a user a new download link (since he didn't get any with the email I sent this morning) but when trying to re-activate his link I get the following message:

Sorry, this transaction can not be renewed any more.

Why's that happening, and more importantly, how can I solve this?

Thanks,

Wilco

Hello Wilco,

There are limits on how many times a transaction can be renewed, if you have hit that limit you can send the buyer a brand new download link via Seller Admin > Send Free Download Link instead.

Yesterday I sent out an update email and I got multiple emails from people that didn't receive any email (I also send out an email from Aweber so they know they should've gotten an email with the update).

If I understand correctly I just paid for sending out this email, but at the same time not all of these emails are being sent out and there's no way to send them updates anymore?

Shouldn't that limit be removed as soon as I pay for the email to be sent out?

I was definitely not aware of this, and it is a deal-breaker for sure. It looks like I won't be using E-Junkie for my upcoming launches anymore...

There is a difference between reviving a download link and sending an update. The option to send updates should not have any problem due to the limit on renewing the download link. Can you e-mail us a couple of the e-mail addresses that did not get the update and the name of the product that you were sending the update for so we can have our development group take a look?

You can use our Contact link at the top of any of our webpages, to send an e-mail to our support staff.

A limit on renewal? Why? It is not something that I have set. Where can I read about this limit?

The error message "Sorry, this transaction can not be renewed any more" typically means that some item(s) in the original transaction no longer exist as currently active products or are no longer configured with any download link features. It can also mean the links for that transaction have already been reactivated 5 times, which is the maximum our system allows.

Feel free to use the contact link at the top of our site to email us the specific Transaction ID you're trying to reactivate, and we'd be glad to investigate that and tell you what the problem with reactivating links for that transaction may be.

Thanks for the response.

As far as I can tell, the product is still active, though it's not for sale any longer.

I sent the customer a free download link. The fact that this was possible indicates that the product is in fact still active.

If this occurs again, I'll follow up as you suggest.
