Site down?

Somebody trying to download one of my pdfs was told last week that "my site was down." I dismissed it as malarkey - but it happened again today. I've not been able to reproduce the issue, though granted, this is a few hours after the latest incident. Is this something that happens if e-junkie goes down? Was e-junkie down?

We have not had an outage in recent memory, and even so that should not affect whether anyone could reach your own site at all. FWIW, I have no problem loading your site from here. :^)



It sounds like either an issue with your Web site hosting server, or possibly an issue with the affected users' connections or ISPs, or maybe even some sort of network routing glitch somewhere along the path across the Internet between your site host and their ISP, which happened to be a common upstream link for both users' ISPs if they're not using the same one.

Two connecting points make a straight line - so I wanted to make sure I got it checked out and wasn't asleep at the wheel. My site in question is hosted by hostmysite - and I've found them to be sterling, so I'll take my pick of the other thoughts you mention.



Thanks for getting back - I'll keep an eye on it and see if any sort of a pattern develops, hoping for now that it's more glitch than real-life issue.
