Shopping cart streamlining

Is there a way to allow the buyer to purchase multiple skus from my store without the cart window opening each time. Instead the customer would click on the view cart button to monitor the purchases. I use it live and each extra click or opening a window takes time in checkout

Something like that may be possible with custom javascript in your page, but the how-to for that would be a matter of general programming skill that's beyond the scope of support we can provide. We have a couple unofficial hacks which might be useful for that objective:
