Hello. We've moved from selling downloads only to selling things that need to be shipped out and we're having trouble setting up the shipping rules.

We are UK based but happy to ship worldwide. This means we have to have 4 different prices for each product:

UK

Europe

Zone 1 (basically ROW minus Australasia)

Zone 2 (Australasia)

these zones correspond to Royal Mail zones.

We have tried and tried and cannot work out how to group countries together - the best we have come up with is to make a flat shipping rate for each country and each product, but these didn't seem to pick up for Australia and Canada anyway.

Currently considering only having 2 shipping rates, UK and ROW for each product, but even so this seems to involve a LOT of data entering - is there any way I can group countries together to make shipping zones? Page 2 of the 'edit shipping rules' section will only let us select 1 country per shipping rule.

Currently going through and deleting everything done so far as it's all too confusing. And looking for an easier solution with any other provider if possible...

I am sorry, but our shipping feature does not allow for the creation of shipping zones.

You would need to create a set of rules. Depending on the specifics on how you need to charge for shipping your products the number of rules may vary. If you would like to provide us with details, either here, or via e-mail, we can give you an idea of what you can do with our system.

To clarify, you would set up a rule for Country:All Countries (effectively ROW), then override that with country-specific rules for any country that should be an exception to the ROW rule.

Also, if possible, it would be best to disregard any Min./Max. thresholds for each rule; leaving these blank/0 means they will be disregarded. This is because an order must satisfy ALL conditions you define for a rule in order to qualify for that rule, so if you define arbitrary Min./Max. thresholds for no specific reason, you may wind up with orders outside those thresholds that don't qualify for any rules and thus cannot checkout.
