In the seller admin, when I click on shipping settings, there is a country dropdown at the top left to indicate where products are shipped from.

I have set this to Ireland.

When I click the next button at the bottom right, I get an error that I need to enter a zip code.

But I can't seem to enter anything in the zip code box beside the ship from box - I've tried in both Firefox and IE8.

It's a while since I used ejunkie and I found configuring the shipping very tricky and limiting originally, so I am hopeful that this new settings section may offer more options, but I can't seem to access past the first screen.

I'm probably just doing something stupid! I'd appreciate some help on this.

Thanks for your time.

Are you saying you cannot access the postal code box in the Shipping Origin area in the top part of the shipping page?

Also if you can, I know Ireland does not have postal codes, but you can put in any five digits you want. The postal codes that are entered into that field are only used to calculate shipping with UPS and USPS for merchants shipping from the United States.

Thanks for getting back to me. Sorry, I got it to work now - I logged in afresh and instead of trying to click next with no postal code, entered 12345 in the postal code box beside the shipping origin country and it worked.

For some reason before, when I had clicked next without a zip, the page would hang a while with a 'transferring data' message in the browser status bar and then even when done it would not let me enter anything in the zip box. It was very odd and happened a few times in both IE and Firefox. So whether the fact that I tried to click next without a zip code had affected things or there were just gremlins in the works, I have now been able to enter a zip and can see all the fancy shipping options available now - which really makes me smile!
