Sell digital downloads

I have a person that wants me to design a site with a 30 min movie trailer that he made. He wants people to pay and receive a link and a limit on how many downloads. When I upload his file where will the link be when people access it? Will they play it from the link or actually receive the file. How much is that a month?

The file will reside on our server. The link we provide will download the file to the buyer's machine and you can set the expiration limits (number of downloads, hours) for the links that will be send for each sale.
