Hello all,

I use e-junkie to sell tickets to live events, with each event (including full price and half price ticket variations) making up one product.

I am wondering what the best way is of creating a season ticket product, ie one that combines multiple products and that will affect their inventory accordingly.

The 'package files from other products / Affect their inventory' option doesn't seem to do the job because there are no file downloads involved.

I may well just be missing something, but any ideas are welcome.

Thanks

Actually, the "Package files/Affect inventory" setting does work to affect other products' inventory even if they don't have a file download, but it cannot affect the inventory of products with Variants, because there's no practical way to specify which specific Variant should have its inventory affected by the "Package" product.

If you can figure out a way to avoid using Variants for the individual-event products and just have one master inventory of tickets for each event, then you could use the Package setting to create a season ticket product that would affect individual events' ticket inventory.

E.g., you could use Discounts for the half-price offer, perhaps setting a Max Use Count for the discount if you want to limit how many people can claim that discount:
