Scheduling sales (future begin dates)

When I set up a sale (discount) for a product I only see an expiration date field. How can I schedule future sales using begin and end dates? I'd like to setup a week's worth of sale items (a different product on sale each day for a week).

We don't really have a way to do quite what you describe, but you could set up the discounts in advance with an Expiration Date that has already passed (thus making the discounts inactive), then when each week comes, just edit that week's discount settings to provide a new Expiration Date for the end of the week.
