Initial Notification:
Affected Regions: Global
We are experiencing an issue which may be affecting DoDirectPayment API on the Production. PayPal Merchants may be encountering an elevated number of 10001 Internal Error for SOAP and NVP DoDirectPaymentAPI calls.
Our technical teams are actively working towards resolving the issue.
Until PayPal corrects the problem, you can temporarily work around it by switching your E-junkie account to use PayPal Payments Standard, which appears to be unaffected.
To do this in your E-junkie Dashboard go to Manage Seller Account > Edit Profile > More Payment Options and set the Accept Credit Cards menu to I will accept Credit Cards via PayPal Standard, then click Submit to apply changes.
Once the problem is resolved, just go back there and set the Accept Credit Cards menu back to PayPal Payments Pro.
