Require full Address for Digital Downloads

I will sell a combination of physical products to be shipped and a download code (to be downloaded immediately). I understood from other posts that I have to use the shipping option and the 'add to my cart' instead of 'buy now' buttons. However, I tried this out, and it seems that while it ask for the address, the buyer does not get a download code.



So the questions are:



Is there a way to require a shipping address even if the product is downloadable?



If this is not the case, can one ask for shipping and download code at the same time?

Make sure the checkbox ["Click here to allow transaction-based shipping values to override the profile shipping settings listed above (if profile settings are enabled)."] at the bottom of your PayPal shipping profile is checked.
