Hi, I've just uploaded a new product and I see that it's added to an affiliate program by default - at least I somehow wind up on a page where it's listed above the other product I created an affiliate program for.

However, I don't want to sell product 1 through an affiliate program (yet).

How can I remove it?

Your Seller Admin > Edit Affiliate Program Settings apply in common to all products in your account; it's not possible to exempt any specific products from that. However, you can leave your common affiliate share set to 0%, then go to Seller Admin > Setup Product Specific Affiliate Programs, select a product you do want granting commissions and click Edit Affiliate Settings, then specify the share percentage affiliate-referred sales of that product.

This help page explains more about our affiliate settings:

If you don't want a product listed for sale in your E-junkie Shop at all (these product listings are also shown when existing E-junkie affiliates search our site for other programs to join), just go to Seller Admin > List products in your E-junkie Shop & Marketplace, select the product and click Add/Edit Listing in E-junkie Shop & Marketplace, then delete its Details and click Next. Shop listings are optional; they are not necessary if you are selling products from your own Web site.

Oops, hi again -

I've just had another look at the Marketplace page, and this is what it says:

Like this product? Spread the word about it and earn 50.00% of the purchase price on sales you refer. Click here to join The Iceland Weather Report's affiliate program

- To my mind, this is false advertising, since I'm not offering that on this product. I really feel there should be a way of removing this claim from the page -- or is my only option to remove this product from your marketplace?

Thanks.

This is a setting within the Affiliate program feature. To change this go to Seller Admin>Edit Affiliate Program Settings. There will be a check box for List Affiliate Program in E-junkie Marketplace. Remove the check mark and click Submit.

Ok, but that removes my OTHER product from the affiliate program.

Does it have to be that either all my products are in the program, or none?

Whether or not you list products in your E-junkie Shop and the Marketplace, and whether you choose to display affiliate program info there or not, is unrelated to whether you offer an affiliate program at all, and if so on which products.

If you don't want to offer a default commission on all your products, go to Seller Admin > Edit Affiliate Program Settings and set the Common Share to 0%. Then you would need to add a product-specific share on the products you DO want granting a commission by going to Seller Admin > Setup product-specific affiliate programs, where you'd select a product and click Edit Affiliate Settings to define a share % for that product alone.
