Hello,

We have other means to handle software updates, the reactivation function is only intended for use on a smaller scale.

Our update service can be used to generate new download links for all of your previous buyers in one send, although there is a small fee attached:

Otherwise if you would prefer to continue to update previous buyers one by one the Send Free Download Link has no cost and a no limitation on how many times it can be used for a given individual. You can use that screen to generate and email a brand new download link after an update. The limitation on the Send Free Download Link tool is based on how many times it can be used in a day (it should allow around three hundred individual emails), if your needs are greater than that then we would recommend the Update service as the best way to send out updates quickly.

As I told you offline, my goal is to release new versions of my software every month or two. In addition to regular updates, there may also be more frequent bug fixes. In this scenario it's not inconceivable that someone would need their link refreshed five times in 6 to 8 months.

In practice this hasn't come up too often since I don't usually put out updates as much as I would like, and people don't ask to update every time a new build is released. When it happens I use the free link. I was unaware of the update service, I will look into it.

Thanks.
