We've had a few other reports of that since mid-last week, but we haven't changed anything at our end in terms of what details we send to PayPal for checkout. Unfortunately, we have no other influence over any information PayPal provides in emails sent from their end.
One reporting seller did get back to us later to say PayPal support had confirmed to them it's a known issue at their end that they've been getting a lot of complaints about, so their Developers are working on fixing that.
To clarify, we do provide the Item Name(s) along with the Item Number(s) to PayPal for each order we send them for checkout, so they can pass those details back to us in their IPN (Instant Payment Notification) confirming completed payment, which is what we go by to process the buyer's order. You may be able to see that information in your PayPal account if you view the full payment details there.
You can also find any purchased Item Name(s) in the "You Had a Sale" email we send to your E-junkie Login Email whenever we process an order for you, and also in your E-junkie Transaction Log:
