For many years I've been selling my ebook packages in a zip file. Almost all desktop users can handle the zip format, but now that customers are buying from smartphones and tablets, I'm getting many support emails of failed downloads or inability to extract a zip file.



Does anyone have any advice for what type of download package to offer that is tablet/smartphone friendly? In big orders of more than 5 files (e.g., mp3 audiobooks), having the user click each file separately seems burdensome. I'm not sure how to go about this.

If you do not want to setup each file as a separate product and have the buyers download them one at a time, then I would suggest editing the thank you/download page to suggest they first download the ZIP file to their computer and from there, unpack the ZIP file and transfer the files to their tablet or smartphone.
