I have set up my store and my product. I have my ejunkie add to cart buttons on my webpage (www.theresasheridan.com/seo_made_easy.html). I've set up the affiliate settings for this product, but I'm unclear about what to do next.

Under the affiliate share, I selected the default option and linked back to the URL I mentioned above, but is this right? If a buyer purchases on that page, will the affiliate get credit for it? If not, what do I need to do for the affiliate to get credit?

Also, I want to put a link at the bottom of my sales page on my website (the URL above) to let people know they can become an affiliate. Is there a product affiliate link I should use, or do I just use the program affiliate link?

Hello,

All you need to do is provide your potential affiliates with the sign-up link provided for your overall program. There's no need for product specific sign-up links since anyone who signs up joins your entire program.

Our affiliate links work by placing a cookie in the buyer's browser when they click through to reach your landing page. That cookie lasts for six months and will credit that affiliate for anything the buyer purchases from your account, regardless of when or where they end up making the purchase. Someone could leave your site, come back a week later to purchase and still credit your affiliate for the referral. There's no special settings you need to enable for that, just be sure you are selling everything through our buttons.
