Dear e-junkie support team,



I am trying to send a product update to my customers and I try to follow the directions on the update/newsletter page, but I don't have any products in the drop down, only newsletter option is visible.

The only difference between a Newsletter and an Update is that the latter feature provides a fresh free-download link for each recipient to download the very latest file you have uploaded for a digital product you are selling -- this is typically used to provide bugfixes or free upgrades to software products, updated eBooks, improved recordings of music tracks, etc.



If you have no products with a digital file offered for download, then no products will be shown to send an Update link for downloads, so you can just compose a plaintext Newsletter instead and choose to send that to previous buyers of any product you wish.

Actually, I am trying to send an update (free upgrade) for a digital file. Only what I've done was instead of overwriting the old file, I created a new product with a new file. I do have a total of 5 products that are all digital files (in a .zip format) but none of them come up in the drop down. What am I doing wrong?
