Hi



I'm being a bit dense here.... I've set up some product specific affiliate programs. I have ticked the "Affiliate links will link directly to E-junkie cart".



Can you please let me know where I get the link from, so that the affiliate can sign up to the program?

You would obtain your sign-up link code from your Seller Admin > Affiliate Program Settings screen. Each affiliate would click that link to join your program and then obtain their own link code from their Affiliate Admin.

I'm still confused about how the Product Specific Affiliate Links work.

If I want certain affiliates' referrals to only go to one program's URL, is this the option I use?



I clicked on my Setup product specific affiliate links, then selected the product and clicked on edit affiliate settings. I then entered teh commission and added the URL to the white box underneath.



My question is, when they use the Join my Affiliate Program Now Link, will it give them a link to sign up for this particular program?

The wording in Seller Admin about "product-specific affiliate programs" is a bit misleading, as you actually have only one affiliate program for your entire seller account, which all your affiliates would join. Once they join your program, they can obtain their link code for your Common Hop Link (if you set one up) and/or any product-specific Hop Links you've set up. It is not possible to only offer certain links to certain affiliates; all of your affiliates can pick and choose among all the links you set up.



Regardless of which type of hop link a buyer follows, we set a referral cookie in the buyer's browser which expires in 6 months while we redirect them to the landing page URL for that link. Everything that buyer purchases from you during the lifespan of that cookie will earn the referring affiliate your specified commission -- the product-specific Share % for items that have one, and your Common Share % for all other items purchased.
