Problem with discount code timing out

Hi-

I looked for an answer to this and sortof found some information but I'm still not clear on setting this up so it doesn't happen again.



I created a coupon code so an item can be free.



I didn't set an expiration time.



I left the number of downloads at 1 because I want people to only download one copy.



Someone got an error message saying the code had timed out.



Can you explain the problem and how I can set this up so it doesn't happen again?

The discount did not time out, your link expired after 1 attempt. It is completely normal for many buyers to require more than one download attempt to complete a single download, so we would strongly recommend raising your limit to prevent more people contacting you about prematurely expired links.
