I have been getting many claims of unauthorized purchases on my Paypal account to the point that my account has been limited and I've lost quite a bit amount of money. I'm selling gift card codes which I store here in E-junkie in my products page and they are sent immediately to the customer when they make the payment. Yesterday 6 of these payments were held a few seconds after the order was immediately sent out, so I basically didn't get the money and I lost the codes which I cannot resell anymore.
So I was wondering, Is there anyway to take advantage of E-junkie's automated delivery system but not allowing it to be instant? For example would it be possible for E-junkie to process a number of orders - it keeps the customer's emails but does not send out the codes until i authorize the payment somehow.
I was reading some instructions for Google Checkout and Paypal here as well, and in the Payment Preferences page i see the option to select "ONLY AUTHORIZE the payments and charge them manually from the payment processor's interface" Now would that achieve what I am trying to do and if so how do i make it work for Paypal or Google Checkout?
