Problem: Download exceeds 2GB, NOT supported?

I just got this message after someone ordered a new video product I released that is hosted remotely...



"This is a notification that the filesize of the remote file for EXposed Workshop Download exceeds 2GB and thus is not supported by us. User (e-mail not available) was unable to download it for transaction ID 5KL1279492347160J"



Is there some way around this? Why on earth would EJ care how large of file I'm hosting on my own server account? This is frustrating. It's not 1999 anymore and a 2GB+ file is not that big. People are downloading files much larger than this all the time.



So I guess the question is why is it flagging a large file that's coming from my own server and how can I fix it?

Remote files still have to pass through our system so we can provide each buyer with unique links that expire, due to that we keep a restriction on the file size. If you need to provide a product that is over 2 GB what you can do with our system is split it in to two parts and then use our bundle product feature to provide both links to your buyers with a single product:

OK thanks, I'll look at that. This is a frustration though. File sizes should not be a limitation. I love your service, but I feel like it always takes EJ so long update things. Files sizes, admin panels still being flash, bugs. It's like there's never any progress on things that would make the user experience better.
