I seem to be having a postage glitch.

I've just had 2 orders, 1 digital with no postage and one tangible with postage.

However, no postage was added on checkout which I thought was odd, as it's always worked before. So I did a test run of the same product. £8.99 for the product going to the US should be £7.20. But there's options for £0.00 or £7.20 and obviously the customer chose £0.00.

It's never been there before and I've not changed the settings, how can I stop this?

Many thanks

I've noticed that the £0.00 and £7.20 options now come up on the downloads too. Is this because I enabled the address required for the downloads too?

Getting stranger - I've just selected Australia for downloads, set a 0g and no postage. And it's given £3.50 as the shipping option only.

Very strange, I've had the same shipping options set for the last 18 months, I've not changed them.

The only thing I've changed recently is enabled the shipping address needed for downloads, and then selected the non-eu countries to ship to in the shipping settings, so to get round the VAT thing for tomorrow.

Am I going to have to delete the whole lot and start again?

It should be, no postage for downloads.

Free postage for tangible UK.

Then weight based postage for every where else.

With the new addition of having EU countries in the shipping list.

It appears when you specified Shipping Destinations and clicked Next to apply changes and proceed to shipping rules, rather than clicking Back to Admin from there, you may have inadvertently created a new rule by clicking Submit, so now every rest-of-world order qualifies for 2 different rules and thus offers 2 shipping rates. To fix this, just delete your newest rule, #128461.
