I think the preferences you refer to may only affect the PayPal shopping cart, which has nothing to do with the E-junkie cart service. Anytime you see "cart" referred to in PayPal's site, they are most likely referring only to their own in-house cart service. Also, there may some data collected/provided from PayPal's end during checkout that is either not passed to or not recognized by our service, so you may find the missing information through your PayPal logs/emails instead of ours.

the phone number is not coming across in either the paypal log or their confirmation emails - I am not referring to the paypal cart - I am referring to the set up of pay pal website payments pro - does e-junkie obtain the telephone # when I use pay pal website payments pro?

even if it is only optional - I never receive a phone # is there anyway we can opt to make this field mandatory?

Also, when I look at the e-junkie transaction log there is not even a field for phone number

no response - I will go ahead and make a test purchase and include my phone # and see if it shows up on paypal

OK - so i purchased an item from my website - included my phone # and no phone # appeared in my paypal transaction (transaction id 7VJ8537555296474V )

I have set telephone # on in paypal

I also note that you do not have a template variable for phone # ?

so what is wrong?
